The assessed Regional datasets are available under the WMO Regions and were assessed with the Stewardship Maturity Matrix for Climate Data for National and Regional Purposes (SMM-CD_NRP). The rationale for developing a version of the SMM-CD for national and regional datasets is to address the operational focus of data management at the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS). Their primary mission is to make national and regional datasets available to users. The SMM-CD_NRP therefore retains two main categories: Operational Data Management and Data Stewardship.
